Q&A: MEET JULIE PALLESEN

Autumn is here and at VILA MOMENTS we're ready to try on our new autumn styles and liven things up for winter. While doing so, we caught up with Danish fashion it-girl and blogger Julie Pallesen to get her tips on autumn fashion that works.

Julie has a great desire for traveling and as a model she's lucky to travel all over the world. Go on to learn more about this Julie and get all her handpicked autumn essentials.

The reason I love what I do is…
I love the fact that I have created a life where traveling is my work. My modelling started after high school. After 2 years, I went to study Communication and IT at Copenhagen Business School. Since my master graduation in 2016, I have been traveling non-stop and I love it! Now my base is London and New York, but I also travel often to Paris, St. Barth and Copenhagen.

In 2014, I founded my blog, This Way, with the purpose of creating a travel universe where you can dream, get inspired and feel motivated to plan or explore your own adventure(s).

Right now, I'm excited about...
I am super excited to be back in Paris. This city is so beautiful and magical. All the buildings and bridges are stunning and the atmosphere is indescribable. The food is delicious and the cakes outstanding. I always eat more cake than usual when I am in Paris. My favourite is of course the chocolate fondant, but my second choice is a tarte framboise (raspberry tarte).

My 3-favourite hang-out places…
In London I like the BXR Gym where I always have a coffee and/or juice before/after my workout. If I need to distress and reconnect I go to Triyoga. This yoga place is amazing and the teachers are sublime. Cecconi’s and Soho House are also great hangouts where you can be sure to find me.

My handpicked autumn essentials…
My outfit is grey but with shimmer on my turtleneck to make autumn more sparkly and fun. I have combined cool pencil pants with a turtleneck, and then it is possible to add a swather on top for the cold and cosy times. I like the mix of 3 difference grey tones, to make the look more interesting.
